Dr Wayne Dyer
You can never become successful if you blame others for your problems. If you want to win in this game of life, you have to acknowledge that you are the person who made the decisions and took the actions that have created the outcomes within your life today.
You are the one that ate junk food last night before bed.
You are the one who didn't say no.
You are the one who did not look for a new job.
You are the one that gave up on your dreams.
You are the one that procrastinated.
You are the one that bought it.
You are the one that sold it.
You are the one that lied.
You thought the thoughts, you made the feelings, and ultimately you made the choice. That's why you are where you are today. To some that may be a lot to take in, but in order to achieve success and a fulfilling life, you must accept this.
You have to stop complaining, and start achieving.
People usually don't complain about the things they cannot change. For example you never hear someone complain about gravity as they slip and fall down the stairs. No, people complain about how the stairs needed to be fixed, but your landlord never fixed them. Now really, who's fault is that?
You could have
Demanded that your landlord fix the stairs
You could have moved out
You could have fixed them yourself
The point I'm trying to make is that people complain about the things they could have changed. Instead of complaining take action, make change before you have the chance to complain. When you feel like complaining ask yourself prior; what could I have done different to change this outcome?
