"As you begin to take action toward the fulfillment of your goals and dreams, you must realize that not every action will be perfect. Not every action will produce the desired result. Not every action will work. Making mistakes, getting it almost right, and experimenting to see what happens are all part of the process of eventually getting it right." Jack Canfield
A powerful tool to use in your pursuit of success and happiness is the analysis of your current environment. Do your friends support you? Who do you surround yourself with more; negative or positive people? Are you happy while at work and home? These questions play a huge part in analyzing your environment. Generally people are a reflection of their surroundings. What are you reflecting, and is it time for a change?
My Friends are not supportive and negative, but they are my Friends!
It is a widely excepted fact that most people are an average of the top 5 people they spend the most time with! Are your closest friends supportive? Are they negative or positive?
Take a look at yourself for a moment, are you a negative or positive person? Now pick 5 friends that you spend the most time with, are they negative or positive? Do you match the results of your friends?
If you have more negative than positive friends, it is time for you to reevaluate who you spend the most time with. I am not saying that you have to kick your friends to the curb and stop associating with them. I am saying; You have to be careful how much time you spend with negative people and how you take in their energy.
Positive people generally have a positive effect on others, and negative people tend to create negative effects. Your attitude creates your emotions, which effects your actions. Have a positive mental attitude at all times, and you will accomplish positive actions.
If you want to keep your negative friends you must learn how to turn their negative energy into positive energy. Whenever you hear anything negative from your friends, don’t let it under your skin. Evaluate what they are saying, and create a positive reciprocal. Turn their negativity into positivity. Think to yourself; How could this be positive?
You must create positive conversations! If your friends are being negative, you need to straight up tell them they are and that you cannot take part in any more negativity. They may get upset about this, but if they are true friends it may be a eye opener for them and they will understand for your sake. If they have problems understanding, refer them to this article!
A great way to change your environment quickly is by going to the gym frequently and even more so with a friend who pushes you to your limits! Find a friend you can go to the gym with and constantly challenge and encourage each other. Going to the gym or getting plenty of exercise will change your environment and attitude immensely.
I hate work and the people I work with!
If this is you its time for a change! Not necessarily with your job, but with you! If you work with negative people and your job puts you in a negative state, you must evaluate your mindset about your job and the people you work with. Although it may be time to change jobs, more often than not its hard to make this change fast. So while you're working to accomplish your goals and dreams and stuck in a job you dislike you must work on your mindset while at work!
In order to change your mindset while at work you must leave any negative baggage you have with you in the car. Don’t take your hardships and problems in the work place with you. While at work focus on your job and your job only! Avoid gossiping about your problems and the problems of others.
Do you have a good working relationship with the people you work with? If you answer this no, are you part of the problem or the solution? Can you end the discrepancy? If so why haven't you? You cannot worry about who was wrong or right, simply apologize for the situation and move on! Don’t wait for someone else to fix the problems, fix them yourself! You have bigger goals and dreams to worry about! Don’t let your co workers bring you down!
Evaluate Your Own Attitude!
How are you dealing with the situations around you? Instead of evaluating what everyone else is doing, what are you doing? Are you being positive and helping to create positive effects for other people as well?
Refrain from gossip at all possible cost! If negativity comes knocking at your door, simply lock the door. Don’t partake in the conversation. It’s that easy, change the subject to something positive instead.
Evaluate your strengths and continue to improve on them! Work on yourself at all times, and feel good and confident about what you are doing! You have special skills and talents that are unique to you and only you! Use these talents and skills and always continue to improve!
You have to commit yourself to the creation of a positive mental attitude! Don’t except anything less! Wake up positive and go to bed positive! The glass is not half empty, its half full! Its up to you to change your perspectives and the how you think about things! Do whatever it takes to be positive!
One of the best ways to maintain a positive mental attitude is to spend time each day reading positive self improvement information. This blog is a great resource to accomplish this goal. Commit to a daily routine of self improvement! This is the best advice I can give you, and it will change your life, as it did mine and countless others!

Hi Allen, a lot of times its easier to procrastinate and just live in our comfort zone for "1 day more", as I've often found myself doing. You're right, it really helps to read motivational words and visiting websites like yours for regular "nourishment" will slowly change our habit of being negative into a more positive mindset! Thanks for the great article! Would you be interested to exchange links? I would like to include you in my blogroll and I would love it if you could include my website in yours.
