If you are ready to make the decision to focus on your self improvement daily and pursue growth then do the following:
Ask yourself: Whats my potential?
Each and everyone on of us has the capability to become great. We all can have amazing success in all areas of our lives. The thing that makes the difference in whether we live a life of abundance or not, is you!
The first step in creating abundance and happiness in life is becoming clear on the fact that you are capable. Whats your potential?
Life should be a process of never ending growth. Each and every day that your alive, you should strive to be better than the last. It is of my belief that we can all achieve more than what we are currently achieving.
Make the commitment to change:
Take a cold hard look at yourself, what are you achieving and where could you be achieving more? This goes for all areas in life such as relationships, finance, health, and so on. Realize that you can achieve more than what your currently achieving and commit to continuous daily growth.
"Failure is not a single, cataclysmic event. You don't fail overnight. Instead, failure is a few errors in judgement, repeated every day."
Jim Rohn Quotes
Set goals that will make you grow:
Set daily goals that will challenge and push you. One of the most important goals I have ever set is the commitment to self improvement. I read on average One self improvement book a week. We must commit to daily growth. Make each day your alive better than the last. We as people tend to get stuck in routines where we get comfortable. Break those routines and always strive for continuous growth.
Create an environment that promotes growth:
Spend time daily when working on your self improvement study or whatever type of study it may be focusing on time that promotes your growth. You become an average of the five people you hang around most. So it may be time to reevaluate who you spend your time with. If its unavoidable and the person is negative, simply tell them the situation and offer to change together. That will give you both the opportunity to learn and grow.
File what you learn:
I have read so many books now, it would be impossible to remember everything I have learned. I keep a journal daily where I write notes about what I have learned and how it makes a difference. This is huge, because at any given time you can use your journals as reference. Having a journal allows you to go back and skim your old notes, and revitalize all those old memories and help you stay on your path forward.
Use what you learn:
Self improvement books, blogs, programs, never tend to be a read one time only and move on. What your reading is a road map to change your life. Not only do you have to read the material, but you also have to apply it. Make the necessary changes in your life, and as the title of this blog suggests, your success demands action.
Enjoy the Journey:
Life doesn't always have to be strict and tough. When it is time for you to learn, it is time for you to learn, but make it fun. Participate in what motivates and inspires you. If its not your passion, don't necessarily partake in it. Focus on what you love to do or learn, and enjoy the journey.
