Gratitude

"Decide what you want. Believe you can have it. Believe you deserve it and believe it's possible for you. And then close your eyes every day for several minutes, and visualize having what you already want, feeling the feelings of already having it. Come out of that and focus on what you're grateful for already, and really enjoy it. Then go into your day and release it to the universe and trust that the Universe will figure out how to manifest it."
Jack Canfield

Life either measures up to our expectations or it doesn't its that simple, but whatever the outcome is we need to be Grateful. You may ask yourself "How can I be grateful for ( fill in your complaint here)"

There are always plenty of reasons to be grateful, such as:

Be thankful that your alive
Be thankful that you have the opportunity to learn
Be thankful that you can see
Be thankful you can breath without a machine helping you
Be thankful you are reading this
Be thankful for your family
Etc..

When you feel angry or upset about something, instead of continuing that present feeling, try and focus your thoughts on things that you are thankful for. Watch your emotions change almost instantly, as you realize, It could always be worse.

Gratitude is a process in which you create more of what you want into your life. The more you are thankful for, the happier you will be. Everyone goes through hard times, but very few of us realize what we are thankful for. Take some time now to right down all the things you are thankful for, even use your future goals. Right your future goals as if you have already accomplished them.
Ex: I am happy and thankful that I have accomplished (Fill in the blank)
Write all of your goals like this and read them daily.

If you are grateful for what you already have you will attract more things to be grateful for.

Each morning I wake up saying Thanks. I think about all the reasons I have to be thankful for, future and present. Do this each morning when you wake up. You will go through the day much more carefree and happy. You will have created the day you wanted.

"The daily practice of gratitude is one of the conduits by which your wealth will come to you"
Wallace Wattles

Action Steps
1. Write your goals down as if you have already achieved them. Start your goals by stating you are happy and grateful.

2. Complain less, be thankful more. When you find yourself upset or angry, think about the things that make you happy and grateful.

3.Wake up each morning and say Thanks! Think about all the things you have to be grateful for, future and present.

The fastest way to turn your life around is by being grateful. As soon as you feel grateful for the things you already have you will attract more things you don't have.

Excellent advice, Loomis. Being thankful for what we already have can bring instant happiness in addition to helping bring more things to be thankful for. We can start off each day just being thankful for seeing another day.
