Using your Imagination

"Imagination is more important than knowledge"
Albert Einstein

Our imagination is our most powerful conscious gift. It gives us the ability to picture in our minds our dreams and goals. Without this powerful tool, there would be no creativity, and there would never be anything new.

Imagination is what makes our world go round. Look around you, at some point most of the things surrounding you were just an idea. That idea was sparked from imagination. When trying to develop your dream life, your imagination is key. Just like everything your dream starts out as a idea. Your imagination makes that idea possible, that way your idea can be invented.

As the average person grows older their imagination neurons become atrophied from lack of use. Time after time as a kid your told to stop day dreaming, and get your head out of the clouds. After hearing those types of things over and over again, we actually begin to do just that. Most people stop using their imaginations. Imagination is not everything, it takes many other things to make your dreams become a reality, but imagination is the starting point.

Start visualizing every day what your dream life would be like. Close your eyes and in your mind create pictures of what it would look like, feel like, and be like, as if you were living your dream that moment. By doing this you can cultivate your imagination, and you will watch your creativity flourish from day to day.

Now here's the best part, and if your like most people no one ever told you when you were young: Once you have seen your dream life in your imagination, you have all the faculties you need to bring that vision into a physical reality, using the very same process that turns a acorn into an oak tree.

An acorn is just an idea of a oak tree. If you take care of the acorn, give it the right environment and nourishment, it then becomes a oak tree. The same is true for your dream. Your dream is just a idea, but if you take the needed steps and put forth the effort, your dream can become a reality.

my knowledge forces me to admit I am becoming weaker and weaker each day, meanwhile the imagination resists the inescapable reality of old age and inspire me with the desire to address you to thank for the help to revive the dreams and escape the loneliness and the killing sense of personal needlessness.
Hot welcome restores the lost neurons - rejuvenates the soul and warm the heart. Thank you.

"An acorn is just an idea of an oak tree." That's really nice. As someone who daydreams all the time - and has his best ideas/makes a lot of money while doing so - I can really relate to this post.

Thanks for sharing - it's one of those posts I wish I'd written :P
