"The average person puts only 25% of his energy and ability into his work. The world takes off its hat to those who put in more than 50% of their capacity, and stands on its head for those few and far between souls who devote 100%."
Andrew Carnegie
Life is series of seasons, you can experience the harshest of winters to the most amazing of summers. (At least where i live in upstate new york) But eventually each season ends, welcoming the next. Our lives are played out much the same.
Through all the tough times to the great times, you should always beware of possible mishaps or discouragements but the key is not to fear them. Don't see these future road blocks worse than they are, but exactly what they are, then strive to make them better. Consider these road blocks integral to your success and happiness. Embrace them for what they are, cycles of your life to your success and happiness.
I believe you will find that during hard times, if you embrace the changes and opportunity's that come with them, they generally become easier. Abraham Lincoln during his times of trial would often say. "This to shall pass."
Action steps
1. Ask yourself daily what is the opportunity in this. Post this somewhere you will see it each morning.
2. Write this on a index card, and whenever you feel discouraged view your card.
"Every failure holds the seeds to an equal or greater success"

Yes, embrace life with happiness either in fair weather or in bad weather.
We are all under-achievers when you think about, right?
