"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover"
Mark Twain
1. Be Courageous:
Go forward in the direction of your dreams and goals with strength and faith in your success. Don't let little bumps in the road stop you. You have the ability to achieve all of your ambitions. I believe in you, and you should believe in yourself as well!
Never let your guard down to negativity. You control how strong your tide is on your way to success. The more effort you put in, the more momentum you will receive. Your goals and dreams are waiting, and its up to you to get there!
"All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them."
Walt Disney
2. Put Your Money To Work:
Each and every week pay yourself first and save your money! The best way to do this is think of a percentage you can handle, I usually suggest 10% of your total monthly income, and put it away into a savings account before you pay any other bills.
Don't touch this money for awhile, and let it grow and grow. As your money is growing look for sound ways to invest it, and when the time is right put your saved money into those investments. All the while continuing to save the 10%.
3. Always Continue To Learn:
In order to achieve any worthwhile success in my opinion you must have a desire to learn. In no point of life should we be satisfied with what we know. We should always be looking for ways to improve ourselves, and the world.
By doing so we give life meaning and will continue to create new goals. As long as we are alive, our work on this world is never done. We should always strive to achieve more so we can improve and give more!
4. Develop Loving and Lasting Relationships:
If you could have anything you wanted, would you be happy if you didn't have anyone to share it with? The personal relationships we develop with friends and family members are the biggest source of support and happiness in our lives.
Taking the time to build long lasting personal relationships is essential to long term happiness. Without the people you care about, most likely you will be miserable, no matter how successful you become. Put the ones you care about first!
5. Be Passionate and Work Towards A Dream:
If you could have anything in the world what would it be? What is your greatest passion and dream? You should always keep your passion in front of you, and continuously work toward its attainment.
We cannot control everything that happens in our lives, but working towards our goals and dreams gives us something positive to work with. If you focus on dreams and goals you are passionate about you will set a strong foundation for your future success.
